The member of the Political Bureau and Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, condemned on Twitter the Israeli aggression against the Jenin refugee camp, “a fact that constitutes a threat to stability and peace in the Middle East.”

History repeats itself. Palestinian civilians are killed or injured by constant aerial bombardments and ground attacks by more than a thousand Israeli soldiers, who have broken into the refugee camp in Jenin, north of the occupied West Bank.

Qualified by the Arab League as a new war crime, the aggression has already left eight Palestinians dead and some 50 wounded.

A senior Israeli official, quoted by Hispantv, has stated that the Zionist regime “had informed the US government of its intention to carry out a large-scale military operation against Jenin.”

There are already tens of thousands of Palestinians murdered since the very birth of the Israeli State, in 1948, and the process of Jewish colonization, which until today has not stopped.

Let us remember that, in 2021, in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, Israeli forces killed more than 300 Palestinians. Earlier, in 2008, during the so-called Operation Cast Lead, Tel Aviv forces killed more than 1,434 people, most of them civilians, in a veritable genocide against Gaza.

Parallel to these attacks, the Government of Israel has built thousands of Jewish settlements on occupied land, while destroying villages inhabited by people of Arab origin.
