In spite of Obama’s restoring diplomatic relations with Cuba, the U.S. economic war and blockade against Cuba continues. This blockade has been repeatedly condemned by the United Nations, last year the vote was 191-0 with 2 abstentions.
The Obama administration, since restoration of relations with Cuba in December 2014, has fined companies over $3 billion for trading with Cuba. The blockade even interferes with other countries selling medical equipment and drugs to Cuba.

Senate bill S.472 sponsored by Sen. Jerry Moran [R-KS]
These bill allows businesses to trade freely with Cuba. Current Illinois representative co-sponsoring is Darin LaHood (R-IL 18)Return the territory of Guantanamo held by the US against the will of Cuba. The Guantanamo base has been held by the US since 1902, kept since the 1898 US invasion in the Spanish- Cuban-American war.
Ensure the right of freedom to travel to Cuba for Americans and to the U.S. for Cubans. Expanded travel to Cuba issupportedby 81% of the American public, including 71% of Republicans, and 74% of Cuban-Americans in Miami-Dade county.
