Nino Pagliccia: After Electoral Victory, Chavismo Carries On While Far-Right Opposition Plots Destabilization This article summarizes the work of the Maduro government since the July 28 election – in health, technology, education, communes, the economy. ‘Perhaps the most researched and comprehensive exposition of the details leading to the US intervention in the electoral process of July 28 has been given by the Venezuelan ambassador to the UN, Samuel Moncada, reporting to the National Assembly of Venezuela in late August. Additional analyses countering disinformation in the media about Venezuela’s July 2024 elections can be found here.’ Meanwhile, on social media, the right wing opposition González-Machado team have been giving assurances without details that Edmundo González will be inaugurated president of Venezuela on January 10, 2025.
Dissident Voice: Stop the Distraction: Fix Florida, Not Venezuela (STOP MADURO Act) Instead of focusing on issues which truly matter to their constituents, imperialists like Scott and Rubio have been focused on proposing legislation like the Securing Timely Opportunities for Payment and Maximizing Awards for Detaining Unlawful Regime Officials (STOP MADURO) Act. The STOP MADURO Act proposes that the already preposterously high $15 million bounty for “information leading to the arrest of Nicolás Maduro” to $100 million. The bill alleges that Maduro and other government officials have been engaged in “conspiring to import cocaine” and using and conspiring to use “machine guns and destructive devices” to carry out “narco-terrorism”.
Prensa Latina: ALBA-TCP reiterates denunciation of coup attempt against Colombia’s President Petro Executive Secretary Arreaza called for “respect for the democratic will of the Colombian people and to neutralize this institutional and oligarchic coup d’état attempt”. Petro denounced the day before that the Colombian National Electoral Council (CNE) is trying to take away the political rights of the 11.5 million people who voted in the 2022 presidential elections. He warned of the beginning of a coup d’état and said the CNE can never, nor does it have the power to investigate the President. “This is the beginning of the coup d’état.” Petro added that presidential immunity was violated and the rule of law and respect for the popular vote and democracy were broken. “Petro because he does not shut up, because he speaks the truth, even if I am wrong many times, and I try to ensure that there is justice in this country and that poor people have a place”.
Al Mayadeen: Maduro says ‘Israel’ launches ‘war of extermination’ in West Asia There is an ongoing “war of extermination” against the Arab people of Palestine, Syria, and Iran, which is being concealed by Western media, President Maduro emphasized. “Today marks one year of genocide. I am surprised that there are media outlets, which title: ‘One year of the war of Israel against Hamas’. Who’s title, ‘a year of war against Hamas’, is an accomplice to the genocide. They will not shut us up, whatever it is called in the world,” Maduro stressed. “One has to talk about a year of the war of extermination, the most horrible war since the time of Hitler (…). It is a war of extermination against the people, of extermination against the peoples of the Middle East, it is a war against the Arab people of Lebanon.”
Venezuelanalysis: Venezuela Reiterates Support for Palestine, Rejects Zionism and Fascism Thousands of Venezuelans marched Sat. Oct. 5 to the United Nations headquarters in Caracas as a show of support for the Palestinian people and a rejection of Israel’s campaign in Gaza and its invasion of Lebanon. Billed as an anti-fascist, anti-imperialist, and anti-Zionist action, the demonstrators read a letter aimed at the UN with a series of demands that included a call for the Security Council to take action to stop a genocide. Demonstrators were joined by the Palestinian ambassador to the country, Fadi Alzaben, alongside Iranian Ambassador Hojjatollah Soltani, and numerous figures from the Venezuelan government, the PSUV and popular movements. “When we raise the Palestinian flag we are raising the flag of the free peoples of the world, of the peoples who do not give up and of the peoples who fight,” Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello said to the crowd.
Millions of barrels of Venezuelan crude oil go to India amid US sanctions Two Indian state refiners have bought 2 million barrels of Venezuelan crude for November delivery, as shipments to what previously was Venezuela’s second largest oil market continue to grow. Indian refiners resumed imports of Venezuelan crude earlier this year after the US Treasury Department authorized transactions for exports of crude and fuel despite sanctions on Venezuela. India’s top refiner, Indian Oil Corp is set to receive 1.2 million barrels of Venezuelan oil while Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals will get 800,000 barrels of oil.
Mision Verdad: A Glance at Venezuela’s Economy as the Year End The economy experienced a notable growth of 8.78% in this indicator during the second quarter of 2024. This figure follows the increase of 8.40% recorded in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period in 2023. The strong performance is driven by both oil and non-oil economic activities. These items grew, in the second quarter of 2024, by 11% and 6.5%, respectively. Regarding inflation, considered one of the most important problems of the economy, Venezuela’s inflation is recorded at 11.5% so far this year from January to September, a figure well below—almost 10 times below—the level reported in the same period of 2023, when the indicator was 104.9%, according to the BCV.

Granma: We will be like Che, the motto that belongs to an entire people October 9, the anniversary of his murder at age 39. Fidel said in his eulogy in 1967, “If we want to express how we aspire our revolutionary fighters, our militants, our men to be, we must say without hesitation of any kind: May they be like Che! If we want to express how we want the men of future generations to be, we must say: May they be like Che! If we want to say how we want our children to be educated, we must say without hesitation: We want them to be educated in the spirit of Che! If we want a model of man, a model of man that does not belong to this time, a model of man that belongs to the future, I heartily say that model without a single stain in his conduct, without a single stain in his attitude, without a single stain in his performance, that model is Che! If we want to express how we want our children to be, we must say with all the heart of vehement revolutionaries: We want them to be like Che!”

Russia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov’s Full Speech at 79th UN General Assembly, September 28, 2024 In 2015, the UN Summit on Sustainable Development adopted grandiose plans to fight poverty and inequality. In the end, they turned out to be empty promises in the face of the unwillingness of Western countries to give up their neo-colonial practices of siphoning off the riches of the world for their own benefit… The Secretary-General speaks of global cooperation at the very moment when the countries of the West have unleashed a veritable war of sanctions against more than half, if not the majority, of the countries of the world, and the US dollar, promoted as an asset and a good for all humanity, has been crudely turned into a weapon…The situation is no better when it comes to implementing the binding resolutions of the UN Security Council. The most egregious example is the postponement for more than 80 years of consensus resolutions on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state…Another blatant example of the use of terrorist methods to achieve political goals is the attack on Lebanon, in which civilian technology was turned into a deadly weapon. It is already impossible to ignore the numerous publications in the media, including in Europe and the United States, which prove the various levels of Washington’s involvement and, at the very least, its awareness of the preparation of a terrorist attack. We understand that the Americans always deny everything and do their best to erase the emerging facts – just as they did in response to irrefutable evidence of their involvement in terrorist acts against the Nord Stream pipelines…
In 1970, the General Assembly unanimously decided in its Declaration that everyone must respect the territorial integrity of those states whose governments respect the right of peoples to self-determination and thus represent the entire population living in the territory concerned.
